Introduction

Welcome to ELGAME ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or playing our game, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the game or its related services.

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the ELGAME platform, including but not limited to gameplay, leaderboard participation, and any other related features or services.

1. Eligibility

1.1 Age Requirement: By playing ELGAME, you confirm that you are at least 13 years old. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian to use the game.

1.2 Account Requirement: To access certain features, such as My Leagues, Create League, Join Leagues, and so on, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

2. Gameplay Rules

2.1 Objective: Your goal is to guess the correct player in as few attempts as possible. You have up to 10 attempts per game to achieve this.

2.2 Timer: A 45-second timer is in place for each guess. If the timer expires and you have not made a new guess, the same player will be repeated.

2.3 Scoring:

  • Attributes of your guess (e.g., higher, lower, close match) will guide you in narrowing down your choices.
  • Green fields indicate a perfect match.
  • Yellow fields indicate attributes that are close.
  • Yellow-filled team logos signify that the guessed player's team is from the same country as the target player's team.

2.4 Daily Gameplay Limit:

  • Logged Out Users: You can play as many times as you want.
  • Logged In Users: You are limited to one game per day and are eligible for leaderboard participation.

2.5 Random Player Selection:

  • Each day, a new player will be introduced at 00:00 UTC.
  • The player you receive is randomly selected from all EuroLeague teams.

2.6 Leaving the Game:

  • If you leave the game, close the window, or switch to another window during gameplay, it will be considered as requiring 10 attempts to guess the correct answer for that day's gameplay.

3. Leaderboard Participation

3.1 Eligibility for Leaderboards:

  • To be eligible for the top of the league leaderboards, you must start playing at the beginning of the week or within the first three (3) days of the month.
  • If you miss a day of playing, it will be counted as requiring ten (10) attempts to guess the correct answer.

3.2 Leaderboard Rankings: Rankings are determined by the fewest number of attempts required to guess the correct player in that week, month, or that private/public league.

4. User Conduct

4.1 Prohibited Activities:

  • Using automated tools, bots, or scripts to play the game.
  • Disrupting or interfering with the functionality of the game or its servers.
  • Sharing or leaking solutions that compromise the integrity of the competition.

4.2 Fair Play: You agree to play fairly and not engage in any behavior that provides an unfair advantage.

4.3 Account Suspension: We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules or compromise the integrity of the game.

5. Privacy and Data Use

5.1 Data Collection: By playing the game, you agree to our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data.

5.2 Leaderboard Data: Your username and performance may be displayed on public leaderboards.

6. Limitation of Liability

ELGAME is provided "as is" without any warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of the game.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Updated versions will be posted on our website, and your continued use of the game constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of your jurisdiction. Any disputes will be resolved in accordance with local laws.
